Cablebolt Operator - Broken Hill Operations

The Position

We are currently seeking applications from motivated individuals to fill the role of Cablebolt Operator for our Broken Hill Operations.

What we are looking for

  • Underground experience essential
  • The successful candidate will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made

Reporting to the Project Manager your duties will include (but are not limited to)

  • Safe and efficient operation of Tamrock Cabolt drills to Site and Byrnecut Australia standards

It is essential that the successful applicants will have

  • Appropriate experience operating Tamrock Cabolter DS420-C or similar drills
  • Experience in underground mining.
  • Current Driver’s License

The Position

What we are looking for

  • Underground Experience preferred
  • SA Electrical license
  • The successful candidate will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made
  • Preferred candidates to be residential “SA based”
  • HV switching ticket highly regarded

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you duties will include (but are not limited to)

Management Accountant

Management Accountant

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant role will be fulfilled with core responsibilities including:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts;
  • Preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations;
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
  • Preparation of annual financial accounts;
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Assisting with budgeting process, including capex;
  • Corporate and Payroll tax compliance;
  • Liaison with internal departments & external professional service providers;
  • Interaction with operational and project managers;
  • General Ledger and System Integrity Maintenance; and
  • Monitoring all project accounting activities on projects in accordance with Group procedures and guidelines.
  • International travel may be required from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Commerce and/or Accounting.
  • Completed or Studying towards CA/CPA Qualification

Characteristics / Skills / Competencies:

  • 4-5 years post graduate experience;
  • Experience preparing accounts in non-Australian jurisdictions
  • Self motivated and ability to work unsupervised;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Teamwork and relationship building skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (especially MS Excel);
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines;
  • Experience with Pronto, but not essential.

The Position

We are currently seeking applications from motivated Automation Technicians with underground remote control system experience to join our maintenance department at one of our new exciting operations maintaining the latest Sandvik Automine remote control system.

  • You will be responsible to perform scheduled and breakdown maintenance and technical support to the site maintenance team as required.

It is essential that the successful applicants will have –

  • Appropriate experience with underground mining remote control system, with RCT, Nautilus, Minegem or Automine remote control systems experience preferred.
  • The necessary trade qualifications to support the Automation system.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in an underground maintenance environment is required.
